كشفت تقارير صحفية، أن الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم، يدرس زيادة عدد المنتخبات في بطولة يورو 2028 إلى 32 بدلًا من 24.

وكان الاتحاد الأوروبي قرر زيادة منتخبات كأس الأمم الأوروبية “يورو” منذ نسخة 2016 في فرنسا إلى 24، وهو النظام التي أقيمت به النسخة الماضية 2020.

شبكة “بي ان سبورت” القطرية، كشفت بأن اليويفا يدرس زيادة عدد منتخبات اليورو إلى 32 وبصدد الإعلان عن ذلك اعتبارًا من نسخة 2028، والتي تعتبر بريطانيا وأيرلندا أبرز المرشحين لاستضافتها.

وأوضحت التقارير أن الاتحاد الأوروبي، شكل فريقًا لدراسة ذلك القرار، قبل تطبيق الفكرة ومعرفة آراء جميع الاتحادات الأعضاء في يويفا.

وفاز ببطولة يورو 2020 الأخيرة، المنتخب الإيطالي على حساب إنجلترا في النهائي بركلات الترجيح، الذي أقيم على ملعب ويمبلي في العاصمة الإنجليزية لندن.

– Eu acho que nós temos de tirar força, pelas pessoas que se foram e certamente iriam querer nos ver jogando pela Chapecoense. O problema é que a gente não sabe se vai suportar entrar em campo e o estádio chamando pelo Danilo, Kempes, Bruno Rangel. Não sei se temos caixa para suportar tanta coisa.A gente queria ver todos alegres, e não dentro do caixão.

Com 11 anos de história na Chapecoense, o atleta falou sobre a dificuldade de reconstrução da equipe:

– Vi os acessos para Série C, Série B, e conseguimos nos concretizar na elite. Foi um sonho que se concretizou mas, se me perguntar hoje, perdemos praticamente tudo… Nossos atletas, parte da nossa diretoria. É preciso ter força para reerguer isso tudo.

وينتهي عقد محمد صلاح مع ليفربول في يونيو 2023، ولكن المصري الدولي رفض عرض التجديد الذي قدمه النادي الإنجليزي في شهر ديسمبر وتعقدت الأمور بين الطرفين.

وكان ديفيز في بث مباشر مع معجبيه على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وقرأ تقرير نشر عبر صفحة “Bleacher Report” منقولًا عن متخصص سوق الانتقالات، فابرزيو رومانو، يؤكد رفض محمد صلاح للعرض وانهيار المفاوضات.

وعبر ديفيز عن دهشته على الفور بعد قراءته للخبر، وقال: “واو”.

وتابع: “محمد صلاح رفض عرض ليفربول الأخير، ولكنه لا ينوي الرحيل عن ليفربول”.

واختتم: “على ليفربول منح محمد صلاح ما يريد من أموال”.

This has been an inconsistent season for Everton and Carlo Ancelotti but they will continue to fight until the end in their bid to secure European football.

That was the goal when Ancelotti first took over the reins at Goodison Park, reiterating the desire to get the Merseyside outfit back in the Champions League.

Unfortunately, he may be heading elsewhere.

What’s the word?

The Italian manager has only been back in the Premier League for 18 months but he’s already in danger of moving on.

That’s according to Football Insider who report that both Real Madrid and Barcelona could be set to go head to head in order to lure him back to Spain.

Both clubs are searching for a new manager with division rivals Atletico Madrid a point away from winning La Liga.

It’s claimed that owner Farhad Moshiri is growing increasingly worried about the future of the club’s manager.

Huge blow for Everton

When the Toffees moved to appoint Ancelotti as their new manager it was a landmark appointment.

After Ronald Koeman, Marco Silva and Sam Allardyce failed to really revive Everton’s fortunes, they needed a stalwart of the game, someone who’d been there and done it all before.

Consequently, when the current boss put his name in the hat, Marcel Brands and co couldn’t find a more ideal candidate than the 61-year-old.

He’s won the league in England, France, Italy and Germany, while he’s guided both Milan and Madrid to Champions League triumphs; this is one of the greatest tacticians to grace our game.

Ancelotti is a huge coup for the football club and it’s unlikely they’d be able to replace him with someone of a similar ilk.

The former Chelsea manager has a win percentage of 46.8% in Merseyside at the moment, the best of any permanent head coach since Howard Kendall in the 1980s.

With that in mind, it would be gutting for the supporters to see him walk through the exit door.

He’s in the process of building a squad that can finally compete for a place in Europe again. They have a striker in Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is free-scoring while the lure of new signings is greater with Ancelotti in the dugout.

Without him, proceedings could unravel and their ability to sign some of the best talent out there could also take a hit.

In short, there are zero plus points to losing him this summer. Everton chiefs and supporters should be incredibly concerned.

وقال علام في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر فضائية “أون تايم سبورتس”: “كأس مصر سوف يتم استكماله، إلا إذا تضررت الأندية من ذلك، لا توجد عندي مشكلة، الأندية هي التي وارد أن تشعر بضغط المباريات”.

Entre os desejos do técnico Rogério Ceni para a montagem do elenco de 2017 está um volante com estatura alta. Esse foi um dos pedidos do ídolo do clube à diretoria nas conversas sobre planejamento. Em sua apresentação na última quinta-feira, no CT da Barra Funda, Ceni já havia dito que o São Paulo era um time baixo e que isso precisaria ser melhorado.

No momento, o clube tem no elenco os volantes Wellington (1,73m), Hudson (1,79m), Thiago Mendes (1,77m), João Schmidt (1,83m), Wesley (1,79m) e Artur, da base (1,80m). Além da estatura, a preocupação de Ceni com atletas é que sejam bons nas jogadas aéreas.

O treinador também tem um meia e um centroavante como prioridades, além de um atacante de lado. No entanto, a diretoria encontra dificuldades para buscar jogadores nessas posições, devido às poucas opções e à restrição de recursos.

Ceni também disse que pretende trabalhar com um grupo reduzido de jogadores (cerca de 25), portanto cresce a importância de ter no elenco jogadores que façam mais de uma função. O São Paulo tem ido ao mercado com essa preocupação.

Até o momento, a diretoria contratou o atacante Wellington Nem, por empréstimo do Shakhtar Donetsk (UCR). Há também um acordo com o goleiro Sidão, que disputa o Campeonato Brasileiro pelo Botafogo. Foi um pedido de Ceni e deve ser confirmado na próxima semana, com o término da competição nacional.

Speaking to Football Insider, pundit and BBC regular Noel Whelan has spoken of his excitement over the development of West Ham United manager David Moyes closing in on a new deal.

The Lowdown: Moyes edging towards extension

As he revealed to BBC, Moyes let supporters know that contract extension talks are now ‘well down the line’.

In providing details of the new deal, The Telegraph claimed that the Scotsman will put pen to paper on a three-year contract after an overall season of defying expectation.

West Ham finished 16th at the end of the 2019/20 season but improved vastly on that in 2020/21 in what has been a great campaign for Moyes.

“I’m sure the fans are extremely happy with what he’s done since he came into the club. The players he has brought into the club, what he is getting out of them, the style of play, you can’t really complain.

“You look at the league table, it doesn’t lie. He’s been successful where he is and rightly so he gets a new contract. Brilliant news.”

The Verdict: Big, big news…

Tying down the 58-year-old is imperative after this season, and many West Ham fans must be be ecstatic that Moyes looks set to commit his future to the club.

After succeeding Manuel Pellegrini at the London Stadium, the former Everton boss built a solid Irons side for 2020/21 as shrewd signings such as Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal and Jesse Lingard all impressed.

West Ham supporters will now be hoping they can build upon this season and continue to defy expectations, and keeping Moyes at the club to continue his good work should be central to that.

Newcastle United’s strong run of form at the end of the Premier League season has ‘doubled’ their merit payment from the Premier League, according to lawyer Paul Stothard. 

The lowdown

Newcastle were 17th in the Premier League after a dismal 3-0 defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion prior to the March international break.

However, they moved clear of the relegation zone with a run of eight points from four matches, picking up commendable draws with Tottenham and Liverpool either side of back-to-back victories against Burnley and Newcastle.

Steve Bruce’s side suffered home losses against Arsenal and Manchester City in their last five games but also picked up another three wins. They impressively won at Leicester before downing Sheffield United in front of fans at St James’ Park and beating Fulham 2-0 on the final day.

That was enough for a 12th-placed finish and, between matchdays 31 and 38, the Magpies were fifth in the form table.

The latest

Finishing 17th would have netted Newcastle a merit payment of just £8.5m from the Premier League, but they are now set for a windfall of twice that amount. Stothard tweeted: “Moving from 17th to 12th with victories over Sheffield United and Fulham doubled Newcastle’ merit payment from the PL (from £8.5 to 17m).”

Shields Gazette journalist Liam Kennedy suggested that this may represent a ‘summer budget boost’ for the Magpies, adding that ‘the more in the pot the better’ given the effects of the global pandemic on the club’s balance sheets.

The verdict

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley will surely be reluctant to invest significant sums of his own money this summer given his reported desperation to sell the club, so this boosted influx from the Premier League could actually be quite important.

Bruce deserved to be criticised for leading Newcastle into the mire in the first place, but he also deserves credit for their fine finish to the campaign. The added £8.5m from those concluding victories over the last week may just finance one astute signing this summer which they may not have been able to afford had they lost both games.
